Get to know how my journey begun

I started my career in India as an Engineering Assistant, where I developed a solid foundation in mechanical systems and operational management. My next stop was Mauritius, where I advanced to the role of Engineering Supervisor—expanding my skill set in team coordination and industrial maintenance.

Early 2000s

Engineering Assistant - India

I began my professional journey in India as an Engineering Assistant, where I immersed myself in the core technical aspects of machinery operations, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance. This role not only helped me develop a strong foundation in engineering practices but also taught me the discipline of systematic problem-solving, process optimization, and effective collaboration within an industrial environment. The hands-on experience I gained during this time ignited a passion for innovation and efficiency that would continue to influence my approach to business and leadership throughout my career.

2004

Engineering Supervisor - Mauritius

My journey then led me to Mauritius, where I took on the role of Engineering Supervisor. In this capacity, I managed technical teams, led multiple engineering projects, and oversaw the operation and maintenance of complex mechanical systems. The position deepened my understanding of leadership, team dynamics, and time-sensitive problem resolution. I was responsible for planning preventive maintenance strategies, ensuring safety compliance, and improving system reliability. This role not only sharpened my engineering capabilities but also gave me a glimpse into the importance of managerial vision, communication, and execution—skills that later became critical when I transitioned into entrepreneurship.

2005

Maintenance Engineer - Ghana

In 2005, I moved to Ghana to work as a Maintenance Engineer. This opportunity exposed me to a new cultural and professional landscape filled with both challenges and immense possibilities. My role required me to manage industrial systems in a fast-growing market, but more importantly, it gave me firsthand insight into the rich agricultural potential of West Africa. As I worked with local industries and communities, I noticed recurring gaps in supply chains, market access, and value addition—this sparked a vision in me. It was here, amid the blend of opportunity and necessity, that I began nurturing the idea of building a company that would connect Africa’s resources to the global market in a structured, sustainable, and scalable way.

2008

Founded Kingdom Exim Ghana Limited

Motivated by my desire to drive economic transformation and uplift communities, I took a leap of faith in 2008 and founded Kingdom Exim Ghana Limited. The company started as a modest agro-export venture focused on trading products like cashew nuts, shea nuts, soybeans, teak logs, and sesame seeds. Despite limited resources and intense competition, I remained committed to building a trusted brand that valued quality, transparency, and fair trade. I personally engaged with farmers, suppliers, and international buyers to ensure that we delivered excellence at every step of the supply chain. Through perseverance, strategic planning, and a strong ethical foundation, Kingdom Exim began gaining recognition and growing steadily, eventually setting the stage for greater regional and global expansion.

2015

Earned EMBA in Leadership & International Relations

Realizing the need to broaden my global outlook and sharpen my leadership capabilities, I pursued and earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Leadership Management and International Relations in 2015. This academic endeavor was a turning point in my evolution as a business leader. The program deepened my understanding of global economics, corporate governance, cross-border negotiation, and high-level strategy formulation. It also gave me access to a network of global thinkers, policymakers, and industry leaders, which helped me refine my vision for Kingdom Exim. The EMBA empowered me to lead with both compassion and clarity, ensuring that my business decisions aligned with broader societal goals and international best practices.

2017

Kingdom Exim Becomes a Multinational Group

By 2017, under my stewardship, Kingdom Exim Ghana Limited had grown into the Kingdom Exim Group of Companies—a robust multinational conglomerate operating across multiple countries and industries. We expanded our footprint into agriculture, shipping, hospitality, technology, engineering and construction, animal feed production, mining, and quality assurance services. With a workforce exceeding 1,000 employees, the group not only became a major player in international trade but also a beacon of sustainable development and inclusive growth. I built a culture rooted in innovation, responsibility, and impact—one that continues to guide our operations today. Our mission has always been clear: to create a business that uplifts people, strengthens economies, and leaves a lasting legacy across Africa and beyond.
